Empowering the Next Generation of Legal Scholars

The Society of Hispanic Students in Law at UC San Diego is dedicated towards uplifting the next generation of lawyers, justices, and policymakers through community building and empowerment. We offer a variety of workshops, open discussion forums, professional development opportunities, and volunteer experiences to help aspiring Hispanic legal scholars gain the skills and knowledge needed to excel in America's legal arena.

      SOHIL's mission is to uplift the next generation of lawyers, justices, and policymakers through community building and empowerment. Through a variety of workshops, open discussion forums, professional development opportunities, and volunteerism, the Society of Hispanic Students in Law fosters the ideal environment for aspiring Hispanic legal scholars to gain the skills necessary to excel in America’s legal arena. 

      SOHIL at UC San Diego was founded in 2021 and has been uplifting aspiring Hispanic legal scholars ever since. 

      SOHIL meets every Thursday at 5 pm in Pepper Canyon Hall Room 104. 

      No application or dues needed to be a general body member, just attend one our meetings and introduce yourself to one of our board members.
